FALMOUTH COMMUNITY VETERANS CENTER
CONCEPTUAL DESIGN + SPACE PLANNING - OPENED 2024
The Falmouth Community Veterans Center was created as a welcoming place where veterans, active military members, their families, and supporting organizations can gather, participate in programs, and connect with valuable resources.
Keenan + Kenny Architects donated architectural drawings, space-planning services, and renderings to help the organization communicate its vision for the Center. The proposed design included flexible gathering and recreation areas, counseling and management offices, education and technology space, fitness facilities, a renovated kitchen, and a café and common room.
K+K’s drawings and renderings helped make the organization’s plans understandable to the community and supported its efforts to rally the volunteers, businesses, donors, and skilled tradespeople who contributed their time, expertise, labor, and materials to bring the Center to life.
The Falmouth Community Veterans Center opened on Memorial Day 2024 and continues to serve as an important community resource. K+K is proud to have contributed to this extraordinary local effort.
