BARNSTABLE SENIOR CENTER
The new 10,000 SF two-story wood frame Senior Center was completed in 1999. An elevator was included in the first phase for use with a future finished walk-out basement facing the pond to the south. Keenan + Kenny Architects, Ltd. developed plans for the renovation of the 7,500 SF lower level in 2002. Improvements and alterations to the existing building included new classrooms, offices and meeting rooms, accessible bathrooms, new doors, windows, painting, acoustic tiles, and related electrical, plumbing, fire alarm and sprinkler system work.
